A note from your teacher
Michele Beauvoir
Maybe you've been a believer for years — decades, even — and something in you still feels like you're standing at the edge of the deep end, unsure how to get in. You love God. You show up. But if someone asked you to explain the difference between the Major and Minor Prophets, or walk a friend through a hard question about the faith, or simply describe what your spiritual gifts actually are and how to use them... you'd hesitate.
Or maybe you're newer to faith, and you're hungry — genuinely hungry — but no one has handed you a map. You want to read the whole Bible and actually understand it. You want to pray and feel like God is real on the other side of that conversation. You want to know what you believe and why, and you want your life to look different because of it. You just don't know where to start.
That's exactly why The Discipleship House exists. I built this school because I believe every believer deserves the kind of deep, structured, full-journey discipleship that used to require moving across the country, leaving your job, or enrolling in a residential program. The same biblical grounding. The same formation of character. The same hands-on ministry preparation. Accessible to you — wherever you are, whatever season of life you're in.
This school will walk you through the entire sweep of Scripture, from the creation covenant in Genesis to the consummation of the Kingdom in Revelation. It will teach you not just to read the Bible, but to interpret it faithfully. It will help you build a prayer life that feels alive, establish worship and fasting and journaling as anchors rather than obligations, and learn to hear God's voice with discernment. It will equip you to share your faith without fear, serve your city with purpose, and step into missions — local or global — with real preparation.
And it won't leave you in the classroom. The Proverbs 31 unit will challenge you to integrate every ounce of what you've learned into how you work, how you speak, how you love your family, and how you treat the vulnerable. The commissioning unit will send you out with a written ministry plan, a path to mentoring others, and a clear sense that you are not just a student anymore — you are a discipler.
I won't pretend this school is easy. It's intensive on purpose, because the world needs disciples who are rooted, not just inspired. But I will promise you this: every lesson is written with you in mind. Not the theologian. Not the seminary student. You — the person who wants to know God deeply and live that out faithfully. Come as you are. We'll go deep together.
